After 11 months and over 20 countries I am finally back in the states. The emotions in my head are impossible to form into words. Maybe one day in the future, once I have a little more time to process, I'll have better organized thoughts to share with you! Until then, here is my jumbled brief closing message for you:
This year was the best of my life.
I experienced true Church,
I was given six of the most amazing friends and teammates I could've ever dreamed of having- Six sisters that I'll have forever,
I learned time after time that nothing I possess is more important to me than Christ (aka lots of lost/broken expensive items haha),
I dove even deeper into the love of the Father experiencing God in more ways than ever before,
I fell in love with people of every ethnicity, culture, and background.
I experienced the power of Christ
And I return to America, a different woman, one that stands firm, unwavering in her faith, with open hands and no idea what's to come but all the more excited to see what He puts in front me.
Being home is a bittersweet experience.
And as I said earlier, I'm not sure of much,
but one thing I am 100% sure of is my thankfulness.
I am so grateful that He chose me to do this Race.
To see the world, to see the people of the world, and to see Him in the world.
Thank you for supporting me.
Having people at home excited about my journey kept me on fire.
And if you're one of those people and you want to hear more, I'd be honored to share with you my experience traveling the world as a servant of the Most High.
Shoot me an email ([email protected]) and I promise to find time for you!
As I find myself in a constant state of thankfulness, sharing my story, my eyes, and my heart with you is the smallest thing I can do to help others get a tiny bit bigger picture of the world and the Creator of it all.
