Right before I arrived at Launch in DC, I was told by World Race alumnus, Brian Swanson, to hold all expectations loosely– especially my World Race route. Well, wouldn't you know that 36 hours ago I was told that I'd be boarding a midnight bus from Washington DC to JFK airport in New York, flying to Costa Rica, taking a bus to Honduras with one overnight stay in Nicaragua.

Spending a few days in DC with my mom before Launch. Love you, Mom! Thanks for coming to send me off with your blessing.

In case you couldn't decipher that, I'm trying to say that the first stop on my World Race route is Honduras! The countries are projected to still be the same but the continent order has now been switched to Central America, Eastern Europe, Asia, and finally Africa.

Team dinner at the Launch hotel.

We'll be spending the month ministering and living together as a 57 person squad. I'm excited for us all to grow together for our first month in the field. To be honest, my heart wasn't ready yet to go to Bulgaria, so when the AIM staff announced the route change to start in Honduras I was really excited! I am really excited!

Looking forward to Jesus and adventure.

And time with this guy.
