Well, friends, my dream of being a teacher (nevermind that this dream started about a week ago) gets fulfilled tomorrow! My team has spent the past two weeks in Moldova with a Catholic priest named Padre Daniel out in the country village of Petropavloca and Grigorauca. BUT NOW, we are in the capital of Chisinau living with the sweetest women, Irina, Natasha, and Luminta. We're partnering with Campus Crusade for Christ to teach a 9-day long English club for high school and university students!
Every day we have a topical lesson plan, but we also have time before lessons and in between lessons to mingle with students and share the Gospel. We had our introductory meeting tonight with the Campus Crusade staff and it has me PUMPED. Not only am I going to wear my big glasses and a dress tomorrow, but I get to teach people about the love of Jesus. And I get to listen to the Holy Spirit highlight people to pour into.
Please pray for us! Our ministry contacts have done amazing work to pave the way for Gospel-sharing by administrating everything so well, now it's time for the Lord to work. I know God's going to move in amazing ways over the next 9 days. Pray that me, my team, and the Campus Crusade staff will work in harmony together. Pray that our spirits will continue to rest in the Father's love while we work. Pray for softened hearts, hungry spirits, and open doors.
I'm so excited. There is joy in this place.
