2 Corinthians 12:9 say ” My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Since my fundraising started, I have felt confident that the Lord work out all of the details of everything I need for this race. I work full time at a hospital and I live check to check, so I know that I can not do this on my own… there is not a spare 10k hanging out in my bank account! At the start I had no clue what this season was going to look like, but it has turned into such a neat experience. Since my concert I have been asked to house sit, puppy sit, and even landscape ( i don’t know a thing about landscaping… so i politely exited that convo quickly lol!!) Then over this past week a friend’s mom ( whom is also my friend) messaged me about helping her style her hair for her son’s wedding! (I also don’t do hair, so I didn’t think this was going to go too well!) I went not knowing what to really expect, but it was so great! It took only a couple of hours, but it was such a sweet time to talk about life’s transitions, marriage, the race and of course hair! After that time her hair was fabulous full of curls looking glamorous and ready for a wonderful time at her son’s wedding and blessing me with a gift for my race funding!! I am really loving fundraising (right now!!)
