After staring at the screen, typing and retyping things to introduce you to a group pf people that God has brought into my life, I have realized that where my skills of introduction lack in real life situations they are met with the same road blocks when typing on a computer.
I suck at introductions.
But I need you to know who these people are.
I need you to know who they are:
Theirs are the faces of encouragement and hope for the upcoming year. Each one of them carries a story of who God is and what He can and has done. Each one is beautiful and a child of God, willing to share their lives with me, each other and those that we will love on during the Race.
They are unique.
They are beloved.
They are my team mates, the United Warriors.
We are united in that even in the vastness of our differences, our personalities and experiences, we are coming together with the same heart, to love Christ and His people. We are united in that even with our differences we fit together like puzzle pieces, each different but completing a much bigger picture. We are united because we work so well together in such a cray, hard to imagine way.
We are warriors in that regardless of our femininity we are given strength because of who our Father is and what He will do through us in this upcoming year. We are warriors because we are going to intercede and stand in the gap, through prayer, for each other, our team and the ones we will come to love. We are warriors because have each decided that we are going to follow God’s call on our lives and step, deeper, into the surrounding spiritual warfare that is our lives and the upcoming Race.
We are United Warriors.
It’s funny because when we were trying to decide on a name we couldn’t think of one but this one, the one that came out of a rushed need for a team name, and it fits us so perfectly.
Let me introduce you to my team. Please keep them in your prayers are we develop closer relationships with one another and God, as well as, for our experiences while on the Race.
Their names are Crystal, Lauren, Olivia, Megan, Jazmin and Joane
