During our ninth month of ministry my new team, Team Tres, served in Ensenada, Guatemala outside of Rio Dulce with Blue Water Surrender ministries.
Blue Water Surrender owns a plot of land right on the lake in Ensenada with a beautiful home that they are readying to be a home for orphaned and neglected children. We had the privilege of working alongside the founder of the ministry and a couple other short-term missions teams to help speed up the process!
We sanded floors, applied finish, painted walls, moved a lot of rock, built some retaining walls along the lake…
and on our final day we even built a bench!
I learned a lot about hard work and the importance of the actions taken in preparation of the end goal.. Serving and loving people in the name of Jesus. I am thankful for the month we had there.
