I recently had the amazing opportunity to participate in a Feed The Hunger Pack-a-thon. Almost 16,000 children die from hunger related causes everyday, yet hunger is not a food problem but a distribution problem. Feed the Hunger is trying to help by getting nutritious food to places with children desperate for food. Along with the help of the Ole Miss community and my sorority sisters, 160,000 meals were packed! EACH volunteer that weekend packed enough food to feed a child for entire school year!!
