Hey.
I’m not very good at this blogging and updating you on my whole life thing yet am I? It might explain why I have about a dozen of empty journals too.
Alright I am pretty decent on bullet notes though, so we can start there. I thought I would write down a few small lines on what God has been teaching me this last year, what I have learned, and what I am still working on.
I’m sure you can all relate to a few of them, so here goes…
- Jesus is everywhere, I would be lost without Him, we all would be lost without Him, some of us are still lost without Him.
- the best kind of love is the kind that awakens the soul, that plants fire in our hearts and makes us reach for more. The best kind of love makes you rethink what you want in life.
- stability releases ability. Strive for stability.
- the most important change you can make is inside of yourself.
- to my Father, I am insignificant, a piece of dust in the wind, a freckle on the skin, yet you love me dearly, despite my own sin.
- the only meaning something has is the meaning you give it.
- faith comes with time and experience, the time you spend with God and the experiences you let Him guide you through.
- bless those who love you, more importantly bless those who hate you.
- going to Church doesn’t make you a Christian, but loving the Lord with all your mind, heart and soul does.
- try your best, God will do the rest.
- the hardest parts in life are deciding whether something will defeat you or strengthen you, break you or heal you, and whether you will walk away or stay and try harder. Try harder.
- If you are tired of starting over, stop giving up.
- love is much more than a feeling, love is a commitment, and love is a choice. ‘Love can melt the hardest heart, it can heal the wounds of the broken, and it can quiet the fears of the anxious. Everything else may fail, but love will not.
- big things often have small beginnings
- most times I try my best, but if today I lose my hope Lord, please tell me Your plans are better than my dreams.
- Happiness is not a destination, it is a choice and a way of life.
- I will rise when He call my name.
- ‘the ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones that do.’
