No joke.

Team Daybreak is in Kuala Lumpur. Today we went to a street feeding of over 150 homeless. After mingling, Cody and I met a man named "Abel". He was born in Penang, Malaysia into a Muslim family. He attended the University of Illinois and got his professorship in Marketing. He taught for a few years. He then chose to join al-Qaeda to learn more about the prophet Muhammad. Soon after the Sept. 11th terrorist attack, he was deported back to Malaysia. Since, he has been on the streets preaching "world peace" and searching for answers…

This highly educated man knows the gospel front to back but still can't understand why the church is so segregated- so legalistic. He has run from his religious upbringing as a Muslim and is desperately seeking truth.

I'll see him next week. Until then, please pray that God will open Abel's heart to hear just why God sent me to KL to talk with him.
