We've been running.

There have been times this month where all of us would have rather curled up in bed than leave for ministry. Tiredness, frustration, and separation plagued us many times. Our unity as a team struggled and we were lied too often about whether or not it would get better. As halfway ticked by, we found ourselves getting more distracted than excited, more nostalgic than in the moment.

Despite all the spiritual warfare, this month has been packed tight with incredible ministry opportunities. Some of which I can't describe because it would be threatening to our contacts here in KL. Here is a quick overview of what's been going on over the past 3 weeks:

We have…

Taught English and American culture to Burmese Refugees

Joined home cells from a local church on Friday nights

Prayer walked through the darkest alleys of KL

Ministered to women involved in prostitution

Evangelized in the streets

Helped with youth groups around the area

Spent 3 days preaching to tribes outside the city (Orang Asli tribe in Slim River, Malaysia)

Shared our testimonies to Christians at a local college

Reached out to people through working in a cafe & restaurant

Preached in a Filipino Church and at our Wednesday night prayer meetings

Led worship for multiple ministries

Fed the homeless at a nearby feeding ministry

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize?
So run that you may obtain it.
-1 Corinthians 9:24

Yep, we've been running.

This month has been a battle for each and every one of us. Yet, God did not allow us to miss the chance to bring kingdom to this place. The enemy has had no victory over us. He may have kicked us while we've been down, but we are back up on our feet. Life long lies are being destroyed with powerful Truth. Some of our darkest and most painful issues have been brought to light. We are in the midst of major restoration.

The finish line for this month is a week away. So is the deadline for support raising. In one week, almost $700 came into my support account. I am now $1,680 away from being fully funded. I MUST FINISH THE RACE. Therefore, I ask that you all be in prayer as the deadline approaches. People have been more than generous in this time. Thank you to all of you who have donated!!! If you feel led, you may SUPPORT ME HERE.

One thing I have learned this month is that Christians in KL are not just sitting around waiting for another to make something happen. They are asking God for any opportunity to share the gospel and are willing to take whatever they can get.

Are you that willing?

Even when the race is taking everything out of you, are you willing to stick it out?

To forge ahead?

Or are you just going to sit and watch those who are making a difference in the world?

I know one thing- you don't have to be thousands of miles away to make a difference. The race is continuing whether your'e in it or not. Don't get left in the dust. It's time to STEP IT UP.
