It has been one crazy week. I am writing this to you from a hostel in Nicaragua. Surprise!
So the one thing that you need to keep in mind while on the race is that things might change. That being said my route order has been changed. Honduras is now the first country that we will be going to. After that we will be going to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Romania, Bulgaria, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya. It’s not what we had planned for but the Lord has a reason for everything and it will work out.
My travels started out at midnight on Thursday with a bus ride to New York. From there we took a flight to Costa Rica where we got on another bus and drove to my current location. In the morning we will get back on the bus and continue our travels to Honduras. We should arrive around dinner time Saturday evening. While in Honduras the entire squad will be in one location instead of being spread out around the country. Clearly God has big plans for the community that we will be serving in.
Side note: I got to watch fireworks over the Washington Monument!
