One of my fellow racers asked every team mate to write a 100 facts blog so we could get to know each other better. I have to say I like the idea but am wondering which facts to use. Well here it goes.
1. I don’t like talking about myself
2. I like to ask other people questions and let them talk (that being said…)
3. My parents are divorced and both remarried
4. I am the youngest (but my older sister would disagree about her age)
5. I am half Italian (dad side) and mostly English on the other (mom’s not really sure)
6. I am the third generation on my dad’s side to be born in the US
7. I have one sister (married), three step sisters and a step brother (some I see others I don’t)
8. I grew up with three grandmas and two grandpas all have passed now but one grandma (they are missed dearly)
9. I was named after my great grandma
10. I have the same middle name as my mother
11. I have gone by many variations of my name
12. I grew up in the country
13. I currently live in the city
14. I love the space and quiet of the country but the convenience of the city
15. Growing up we would take skiing trips over Christmas break (it was part of our Christmas present)
16. I have been to Disneyland once (very long time ago, would like to go back)
17. I am 5’6½” according to my doctor
18. I have hazel eyes but they change color (green mostly)
19. I have brown hair
20. I have only lived in one state
21. I have moved ten times (mostly during college, soon to be eleven)
22. I have Associates of Applied Science in Automotive Technology (sounds cooler than it really is)
23. I taught three years at the college level
24. I like cars
25. I currently work in the automotive field
26. At one time there were seven cars and one boat at my house (only myself and one other person lived there, did you read #24)
27. Now I only have a 64 Corvair Monza and my daily driver (the boat too)
28. I have a chauffeurs license
29. I have gotten two traffic tickets in my life
30. I have never broken a bone

33. I have a miniature pincher named Mini
34. I have had many pets growing up (a mouse, ferrets, and a horse are among them)
35. I have a unique/difference sense of humor
36. Fall is my favorite time of year

39. I like the rain
40. I love the smell of fresh cut grass

42. I would go work with Krystyna and Sara at their orphanage
43. I have been on one mission trip before (Northern Ireland)
44. I was a part of a student exchange in high school to Germany
45. I have been to five different countries (Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Germany)
46. I have been to many states in the US either passing through or as destinations (none out west but a trip to Vegas, we flew)
47. I would love to visit Alaska someday
48. I would love to visit Australia and New Zealand too
49. I would love to go on a shark dive in Hawaii
50. I want to go sky diving
51. I have been parasailing
52. I love to swim
53. I grew up playing many different sports but none in years
54. I am a big book worm

57. I love cookbooks but don’t really cook

60. I don’t have tv (yes a television but nothing comes in)

62. Bones, Leverage, The Big Bang Theory, House MD, The Closer, and Criminal Minds are a few
63. I like British tv (BBC)
64. I have watched North & South way too many times
65. I own a game cube
66. I still own a VCR and watch tapes on it (be kind rewind)
67. I can knit and crochet
68. I can also sew
69. I like making quilts
70. My favorite pattern is bear claw (I think its really called bear paw but…)
71. I like volunteering at the Civic theater and then seeing the plays for free
72. I like taking photos but wouldn’t call myself a photographer
73. I would like to make/write a coffee table photo book someday
74. I have a horrible packrat habit

76. I sometimes have a hard time sleeping

78. I have been told I talk in my sleep (sorry to everybody now, bring earplugs)

82. The church building I grew up in is being torn down (starting 2/22/12)
83. There were about 24 years between me being saved and being baptized
84. I have worked really hard to get “plugged in” at church (with success)

88. I have one tattoo but have always wanted more (money is the issue)
89. I have six piercing all in my ears
90. I think a little nose piercing would be cute

94. I love Matthew 6:25-34 (and have read it many many times during this whole process)
95. Matthew 6:9-13 was the first passage I remember learning
96. Psalm 23 is another passage I learned as a child (oddly the king james version)
97. I wish I could form the habit of reading my bible more
98. I have no plans for after the world race
99. I am trusting in God to take care of me
