Friends!
My team and I have finished up our month in Lezhe, Albania and my lovely teammate Nikki put together a little visual of our time there. Click Here to View It.
We had a marvelous time working with the students, and building relationships with the staff and the local church as well.
Let me tell you a bit about this month! I’m really excited. Our squad will be divided between two countries: my team and another are in Kosovo partnering with a local church and working with The Samaritan’s Purse (Operation Christmas Child). We’re not sure specifics of what that will look like, but I’m really looking forward to it. We are in a city that is predominately Muslim and that will be a unique experience as well.
The other groups from my squad will be in Greece assisting with the refugee crisis – they have a neat opportunity to experience relief work and catch a glimpse of what the reality of this crisis is. Please keep us and the teams in Greece in your prayers in the days to come as we adjust to life in yet another country and are exposed to experiences very different from our own.
Another teammate and myself will be vlogging (video blogging) this coming month, and I look forward to sharing glimpses of what the Lord is doing here in Kosovo.
Stay tuned for more as I discover more about what my team and I will be doing this month!
