Hellooooo!!!
Greetings from the Washington Dulles Airport!!! Half of our squad is hanging out here waiting to catch a flight to Boston which will then take us to Dublin, Ireland. The other half is catching a later flight tonight.

I’m going to share a brief description of launch and what it entails and some about our ministry work that we are about to do.

Launch is a time for us as a squad to come together with the staff, leaders, and coaches to get us ready to go. To rest up and get fed spiritually, learn to communicate as a team, and more about logistics and how things will be ran on the field.
It was an incredible few days of worship and rest.

Adventures in Missions kindly put us all up in a wonderful hotel. This will be a rarity on the race where we will experience beds and a nice toilet so we all knew not to get too attached.

As a team we learned what it was going to look like to eat on a budget and work out some of those things as a team. We all quickly realized that we probably over packed, brought some things we could probably go without and at least for myself, I unpacked and repacked a few times.

I’m incredibly excited and bursting at the seams to share that the team I’m on along with two other teams will be serving in the country of Northern Ireland this month, in a town that is about one hour north of Belfast. We are also going to be split up into sub groups serving the church there in a variety of different ways. We aren’t too sure if there will be showers there this month (please pray for that, ha!). I’m so excited to finally arrive and be able to see with my own eyes what God’s beauty in Northern Ireland looks like. He surely has a wonderful plan stitched together for all of us and I’m so excited to walk it out with the amazing people on H squad.

I included a video of some of my teammates and I on our housing situation at Launch!
Please stay tuned for another Cribs video once we get to our housing site in Northern Ireland! Cheers!
