“God is color. Wherever you see something colorful – there is God. If you were walking around a suddenly saw something black and white you’d say, “hey what’s going on, something’s missing?” God is color; He is everywhere. “

Hilario Antonio Cruz

“I see God in the mornings when I thank him for my life and he always responds to me because he loves me.”

Tio Jose Suarez

“When did you fall in love with God?”

“I was asked to be an assistant of an event where they asked people if they wanted to accept Jesus into their hearts; I said yes but I really didn’t want to. When God heard my prayer I began to cry and started shaking. That was the first time God hugged me. I would always joke around with people but God wasn’t joking around with me.”

Karla Ralda

“I used to keep my heart full of anger and bitterness because of all of the pain and heartache I had experienced in my childhood. I was piling up new anger on top of old and was growing more and more bitter per transgression; until one day I broke down and had to forgive the person that was at the root of all of my hate. After forgiving my father, I learned to forgive all of my transgressors – one by one. Through forgiveness I have learned how to love without exception – just as Christ has called us to do. It does not mean that I will be free from pain from now on but I will be able to handle turbulent times with ease now. Through our acts of love we can win over our most destructive opponent because love is the fiercest weapon we have on hand against the enemy. Every time we bless those who offend us we win a battle for the kingdom. Just imagine what the world would be like if people forgave one another instead of cursing one another or if nations would forgive as well. The key to forgiveness is to have a humble mindset. The word says how can we expect to be forgiven if we ourselves cannot forgive. Swallow your pride. Who do you need to forgive and love?”

“What do you like most about Nicaragua?”

“I like the lakes and the volcanoes but mostly the ones on the island. I also like the tourist attractions like the mineral springs and the waterfalls.”

Tia Amy

“Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?”

“I would like to get another job in administration, which I studied in school. I also would like to get married but in all things serve God for the rest of my life.”

Heysel Yesenig

“When are you most happy?”

“When I am with my friends and we are having fun and laughing. And also when I am with my family I can always have a good time.”

Robert

“I believe that in order to be at peace with yourself you first have to know yourself and accept who you are. You understand your strengths and weaknesses and focus on making the most of yourself and doing for others based on your strengths. Pursue your God given passions and use them to serve others and glorify Him. It all boils down to living a meaningful life. If you know what your passions are and live your life pursuing them and at the same time using them towards the purposes that God wants to use you to fulfill His will then you have had a successful life.”

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
