Meet Team Oceans! My team of ladies who I will be living, growing, and loving with for the next year!
We chose our name based on the Hillsong United song “Oceans” so that God may take us deeper into intimacy with Him, deeper into vulnerability with each other, deeper into love with the nations, and deeper into Oceans where our feet may fail and our faith will stand.
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders was printed on my business cards my brother made for my race before I had ever heard the song. Coincidence? I think not.
Without further ado, I introduce TEAM OCEANS!
Bachelorette number 1 enjoys sunset walks on the beach, worshipping with her guitar, and everything outdoors! The love of the Lord radiates off of her in every waking moment and she brings joy to everything she does. I am excited for this little lady to lead our team in song and praise in the next 11 months but she is excited to see people’s reaction to Jesus’ love! Meet Marissa

Bachelorette number 2 has the most tender heart God could ever give a person. Her gentleness and caring comes as no surprise to all the children she’s nannied and taught. She loves to be active in adventure and God will certainly use her to encourage our adventure. She can’t wait to share the love of Jesus with all the babies of the world! Bachelorette number 4 comes from the city of angels not that we need any proof that she is one. She loves the outdoors, music, and long walks on the beach. She also enjoys aerial dancing – yes, that is dancing when she’s hanging from the ceiling. She is excited to see the world and its amazing scenery, people, and cultures. Bachelorette number 5 is our fearless leader. She is always thinking of others before herself and the best way to love them. She is patient, kind, and ready to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
