As you already know, my name is Christina LOVE Hall. Yes, Love is my real middle name. (Everyone asks.)
I am…
um, I am…
Who am I?
I am a daughter of the King.
It has taken a life full of broken love and a roller coaster of decisions (with less than ideal consequences) for me to realize that no matter where I am in life, no matter what I’m doing, I have a Father in Heaven who loves me for who I am and He has a great plan for me.
What is He teaching me now?
Even though He has a plan for MY life – “He must become greater, I must become less.” John 3:30 – God is teaching me to give everything to Him. He will not let me settle for any less than exactly what He wants for me and I am so grateful for that. My purpose is to share His love and power to whoever he sets upon my path.
The next step?
THE WORLD RACE.
As soon as I stumbled across the World Race website I knew that it wasn’t an accident. After a lot of prayer, that comforting voice confirmed, “My child, Haven’t I taught you not to doubt me? I have called you away to the nations.” Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.
Now, the fun stuff!
– My Family ;
My parents are amazing. My mother is strong-willed and beautiful. My dad (Not my biological father but the dad that God blessed me with later in life.) has helped me learn what unconditional, real love looks like. My grandmother, more commonly known as Ma, is my favorite person in the entire world. She is the most giving, selfless person I’ve ever known and I’m thankful for the values she instilled in me when I was young. My baby sister (Even at 16, she is baby sister.) is so unique and inspiring. I can’t wait to see how God uses her desire to be set apart.
– Me ;
I don’t know why I put this part off until last. Until I started this blog I didn’t realize how much I hated talking about myself! I am 20 years old. My birthday is December 28th. I get gypped at Christmas. “This is for your birthday and for Christmas.” I grew up in the adorable town of Fountain Inn. It’s in the Greenville, SC area. I have a pit bull/beagle mix named Cammie that likes to snuggle. I eat Chickfila at least 4 times a week – with a handful of Chickfila sauce. (As I wrote that I realized how weird the name Chickfila is…) It’s a slightly annoying obsession to others around me. I like to dance and sing. Please notice I did not say I am good at either of those but I like to do them! I am not done with school. It’s a touchy subject but God is breaking me of that. I am trusting that His will for my life will be clearly shown to me while I’m on this trip. I went on a weeklong mission trip to Haiti this past May through AIM and it was such a life changing experience. I realized that I had not seen enough of God to know how big He really is. I am now patiently waiting for July of next year to start this crazy adventure!!
p.s. This is my first blog EVER. Bare with me and let's hope it gets better! 😉
