Hello friends and family!

Let’s me honest, I have NOT been so good at updating this blog! And what I have posted has been a couple of long-winded updates on my new life working at Adventures in Missions in Gainesville, GA….and that’s not nearly as exciting for you to read as my  posts 6 months ago when I was galavanting (and strugglin) overseas. I realize this.

So I say to you, my audience, I am sorry!

But, don’t worry!  Your excitement hiatus is over!

I am going to Africa in 8 days!  🙂

Soon, you’ll get your fix of cute photos of African babies and crazy stories of no toilets, strange accommodations, exotic foods, and ridiculous travel days on buses, planes, and rickshaws!

In 8 days I am heading to South Africa to launch my Kingdom Journeys Women’s Team! We will spend 2 weeks in South Africa doing a Team Building HIKE up Table Top mountain along the Wild Coast (I hear it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world, so get excited for pics of that!)

You can see more about the hike (photo!) here: KJ Women’s Freedom Hike

And then we will head to Swaziland where I will come alongside my team of women as they begin their ministry. “What’s their ministry?” Well, I am so glad you asked! They will be a team of women, working with women. They’ll be hosting retreats called Beauty for Ashes where they’ll create a forum for women to get hope and healing from all the difficult crap they’ve walked through: abuse, rape, prostitution, and all kinds of oppression.

You can see more about Beauty for Ashes here: What’s Beauty for Ashes?

As Director of this program, I am SO excited to be putting together our LAUNCH WEEKEND next week. My team is AMAZING and I am so blessed to be working with women of this caliber. “Who are they?” Well, guess what?! You can read about them here: KJ Women’s Team

And…you’ll probably see their pretty smiling faces in all kinds of photos I’ll be posting in the coming weeks. So you can look forward to that!

I sent many of you an update letter in the mail a few weeks ago — I hope you got it and felt the love coming through that envelope! And if you didn’t get one, it’s probably b/c I didn’t have your mailing address. Send it to me if you want snail mail!

Please be praying for my team as we get ready to launch. Pray that I will support them well. And pray that God will prepare them for all that lies ahead.

And if God puts it on your heart to support me in this mission, please do! I am still support raising and need another $3,000 or so to make this adventure a reality. Thank you!! Click here to support me: You’re a Generous Rock Star. And I love you.
