Here’s a little bit about me:
I am 24 years old. I was born in Kentucky but grew up in a small town in southeastern Indiana. I graduated from Ball State University in May 2012 in speech pathology. I am now living in Tampa, FL and just finished my last semester of grad school!! Graduation is August 9 and then I will be roadtripping back up to Indiana for about 3 weeks until we launch in September.
I absolutely love anything and everything outside and am always up for an adventure. My favorite sport is soccer. I started playing when I was five or six and played through high school. I also played basketball, softball, tennis, and did gymnastics for about eight years. I even gave karate a try when I was young, but that quickly ended after I had to spar with a 6 foot tall man and was terrified!
I also love animals. I have a one year old catahoula puppy named Brantley. I rescued him from the humane society in Tampa when he was 10 weeks old. He is the most stubborn dog I have ever met, but I couldn’t imagine life without him now. You name it I’ve probably had it as a pet at one time or another. I have had countless dogs, sugar gliders, hamsters, birds, frogs, a snake, and fish if you consider those pets.
My biggest passion in life is to travel. I want to experience every culture I can and see all the different types of beauty God has created on this earth. My favorite place I have been to so far is Thailand. The people I met were some of the nicest, most caring people around. I am so excited to be going back there!
