I waited till the last minute to pack, I was anxious about having to start all over and meet strangers who were to become my family for the next 11 months, I was nervous for the things that God would bring to light, and I was scared for all the unknowns of Training Camp for The World Race. But something that I learned from my favorite Young Life camp, Pioneer Plunge, is to "trust the process".
While it seems like I've been here for weeks these past 4 days have been humbling, eye opening, and encouraging. I've been introduced to eating cultural foods (like sardine ramen noodles for breakfast), experiencing incredible worship, hearing inspiring testimonies, and learning to trust God's plan to use me as His hands and feet to love the Nations. I have learned to trust God in ways I never have before, I have experienced freedom and joy, and I have learned that the best thing to give people is love and hope.

So I'm on the "Z Squad", the 26th squad to go on The World Race and God has blessed me with an incredible squad. Soon we will be placed on our teams. I believe that God has hand picked each one of us to be in step and rhythm with His heart. That we will "Peach the Gospel always, and when necessary use words".
I am so thankful that God has ordered my steps to be here and go on The World Race. But this wouldn't be possible without the encouragement, support, prayers, and love from my family, friends, and financial supporters. So thank you for helping this adventure become a dream come true!
