My summer began this year in May. It began when I graduated from college, along with many of my friends. It was pretty much an amazing summer, and so I thought I would do a little recap here for my last blog at home in sunny So Cal.
Enjoy….

Three weeks after I graduated, my friends and I went on a graduation cruise! We went to San Diego, Catalina, and Mexico on a 4 day cruise and it was amazing! It was fun to have us all together after being apart for a few weeks and have one last hoorah!

Also, since I went to CBU (aka “California Bridal University) you know there was bound to be some weddings this summer. Luckily there were 2 amazing weddings from 2 amazing friends that I’ve known since freshman year. They were both beautiful weddings and were a ton of fun to be at.

A week after the weddings were over, I was able to finally get away for a weekend with a few of my friends and head on down to Yuma, AZ for some fun at the Colorado river. This was a much needed break from life and

soooooo much fun. Ash, Alana, Robin, and I drove down along with Shane, his 2 daughters, and Josh, and pretty much just soaked up the sun for 3 days straight. I know I live in California, but I’m definitely a river/lake girl more than I am a beach person. We were able to water ski, tube, and wakeboard, play some horseshoes on the sand dunes, and just lay on the boat and relax. Of course a huge shout out goes out to Josh on this one, for inviting us and letting us hang out on his amazing boat. Josh… you’re pretty dang cool!

Then these past 2 weeks I’ve been able to hang out with friends and family doing random fun things. A big thank you goes out to Alana here, for planning fun things to do and making sure to find a way out here to R-side despite the annoying car situation. It meant a lot to have you care so much, and I couldn’t ask for anything more Lan, I love you! So here are some pictures of some other fun things that happened in the past 2 weeks. Beach trips, dinners out, bonfires, karaoke, etc…

Then to finish off the summer (tonight) my family was able to spend the day together. My mom, sister, and I went to get a massage (my first ever and much needed), hung out at the house some, and then went out to dinner at PF Changs, since I won’t be eating enough Asian food for the next 5 months πŸ™‚

Tonight, 2 of my friends will come over to spend the night for my last night at home, and we will stay up till way too late talking and soaking up as much of each other as we can, and then in the morning, we will all drive to the airport, along with a couple other friends, and say our goodbyes. Tomorrow at 945am summer ends, and the next year of my life begins. It was a great summer and a perfect last summer at home before leaving to go to the WORLD! Ash, Rob, and Lan… I just wanted to say I enjoyed our little hang out sessions this summer, we had some fun times! And to my family, I wanted to say that I enjoyed living at home and being around you all. At first I thought it would be hard to move back home, but it ended up not being too bad πŸ˜‰ I love you guys!

Goodbye to my friends, to my family, and to fellow Californians… don’t miss me too much πŸ™‚

PS… put your Skype name here if you have one so I can add you to my list and talk to you when I’m in China or something πŸ™‚
