Hello everybody! I just wanted to let you all know that I am safe in Cambodia. We got in after a good 18 or so hours of traveling. Both C and D squad are here in Phnom Pehn for orientation. A few teams leave tomorrow, then a few more on Tuesday (us included), and then two teams will be staying here for the next three weeks. Internet is really slow here, so I will be posting a blog hopefully tomorrow for my team, letting you all in on what we will be doing while here in Cambodia. It’s so crazy here, I was expecting Cambodia to be very similar to Thailand and it is very different! Crossing the border there were so many noticable differences in the people and the enviornment in a matter of minutes. I’m looking forward to going to Banan, the city we will be staying in this month, but it will be very challenging as well, as we will be very remote and I won’t have the same internet access as I did last month. As I said, I will explain this more in detail in a blog hopefully tomorrow, but for now I just wanted to let you all know I am safe.
