Tomorrow (June 28th), team Seven:Eleven- Brandon, Pam, Haley, Cameron, and myself– are headed to Puerto Cabezas. Because of the long travel and the bad roads, we have opted to fly instead of taking a “Chicken Bus.” Very few people travel to this area, so we will be on a 20-seater plane, and the flight is supposed to be about an hour and a half long.
In Puerto, we will be working with a Pastor Earl, doing various things working with the local church, school, and orphanage, as well as possibly some construction, from the hurricane that hit last Fall.
Pray for our team as we head into our final ministry location. I can’t believe there are only 28 days left on the race…. WEIRD!
We were told there would be internet access where we are staying, so if that is the case, I will be keeping you up to date about our ministry there. If not, I’ll write a blog when we return somewhere around August 15th.
