Due to some people dropping out of the race, and some changes being made, our team had to lose one of our members to give over to a smaller team. This poem is for Megan, who we all miss so much already and will always have a special place for her in our hearts. We love you Megan!!
Megan oh Megan, where did you go?
Only six short days ago we just said hello
We never had the chance to hang out one on one
But I’m sure if we did it would have been so much fun
It doesn’t take much time for anyone to see
that you my dear friend, are filled with so much glee
I look forward to the times when we can just talk
Get to know each other better, maybe go for a walk
We have matching tattoos on our inner wrists
But that’s besides the point, that you will be so very missed
Someone whose cool enough to pull of the ‘dreads
Must have something interesting going on in their head
So thanks for everything and for just being you
I’m sorry this poem is long overdue
It’s comforting to know that God is in control
He knew all along, that this would be your role
