Kenth has always reminded me of an old man in a baby’s body. I’m not sure exactly why; partly the way he looks, and also his mannerisms and personality. He tends to be a pretty independent little guy, able to entertain himself for hours on end. For one reason or another, I’ve found that he really likes to sit in weird objects…. boxes, drawers, baskets, etc. He also was always the first to climb into Heartlyn’s walker whenever we would take her out… even though he already knew how to walk.
Kenth hasn’t really begun to talk yet, except for a few small words. He does, however, point at pretty much everything and says some word that sounds like “that.” He also is known for his tantrums that involve collapsing on the floor and sliding along on his bottom… often at the expense of his head! Kenth has had three gashes on his head from dropping down on concrete and tile floors when someone takes his toy or doesn’t give him food fast enough. We have actually considered the possibility of getting him a baby helmet!

One of the main words that I think of when I think of Kenth, is sweet. Kenth is an extremely sweet boy! He has an adorably sweet smile and loves to hug! I hope you enjoy this video of Kenth and can see a little bit of his unique personality through the video and pictures.
As you think about and pray for Kenth this week, pray for his development, in all different areas. Pray for his Spiritual health as he grows into a toddler. Pray for his intellectual development, as he has appeared to have difficulties in this area so far, often behind the other children. And also pray for his physical health. Kenth has probably been to the doctors more than any of the other children, having many consistent health issues, including ear problems, as well as random hospital visits for hair follicle infections, splitting open his head, etc. We appreciate your prayers for sweet, sweet Kenth!
