World, meet Jude… quite possibly one of the most kind and polite 13 year old boys on the planet! I don’t know if Jude has a mean bone in his body. I’ve never heard of any arguments between him and the other kids, and he obeys the staff probably the best out of all the kids.
Jude is a very sweet young man. He loves visitors, and he especially loves holding on to them and hugging them! He has one of the biggest servant’s hearts I have ever seen; always doing his chore without being asked. He also loves basketball, and can be seen playing during any free time he has.
Jude has a special relationship with one of the other kids here at the home: Kenth, who you met last week. Jude and Kenth are best friends! The love that is so completely evident between these two is absolutely adorable. Jude loves to come up to the nursery and play with Kenth, and is so patient and caring with him.
Jude is in the 2nd grade at our community school. His favorite subject is math, and he is consistently advancing in other subjects as well. If there is one area that Jude struggles in most, it is probably English. He has a hard time understanding and speaking also, although he can write and read fairly well.
Please spend some time in prayer this week for Jude. Pray for his transition into the teenage-years (as of last week). Pray for his family. Pray for his spiritual development. And pray for a growing understanding of English.
