Yesterday Colleen and I had our Costa Rica adventure. We take one day of each month to go explore the city, get lost, eat some good food, and talk about anything and everything. Since it was Sunday there weren’t too many buses running, so we just hopped on the first one we saw heading towards town. We ended up in downtown San Jose, walked around and snapped a few pictures, and then preceded to eat dinner at one of the many available options. Then we of course decided to stop at the most amazing store in all of Costa Rica on the way home… Hiper Mas. Why is this the most amazing store? Well… it’s owned by and practically the same thing as… WALMART! A little piece of home. We walked up and down the aisles in amazement, drooling at all the American food options, including Chex mix, nature valley bars, cheez its, and dr. pepper. We bought a couple treats and then made our way home just a little bit after dark. Mission complete!
