16 days until I leave
for the World Race… am I scared? Yes …am I excited? Yes. …but I’m
going to save that for another post. Today I just want to update
everyone on my support status.
Currently in my account I have $

I have been extremely
BLESSED by my friends and family who are supporting me in this endeavor. I have posted before about joyful givers, and how important they are, and I praise God for sending me so many people who are excited to be a part of this adventure with me. I have friends who have given me paychecks, extra cash, their monthly tithe, and any money they can afford. I pray that God blesses you for being a blessing to me and this ministry. Thank you for your support, I can’t even express how much it means to me!
Tomorrow, August 15th, is our technical “deadline” for completion of our fundraising. As you can see, I’m
$3,565 short of the $13,000. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean that they will kick me out or anything, it just means that I need to try and raise that money as soon as possible. They will let me go on the race, I will just have to sign an agreement stating that I will promise to raise the remaining amount, and if I don’t, that I will agree to leave the race whenever the funds run out. I don’t plan on leaving this race early, and I don’t believe that is what God has in mind either, so I ask my supporters and my family and friends to help me in raising the remaining funds. If twenty-five people gave $25, eleven people gave $50, ten people gave $100, and five people gave $200, I would reach my goal. Any amount at all would be extremely appreciated and would contribute greatly in helping me reach my final goal!

Also, there is another area of support that is just as important that I need your help:
prayer! Prayer will shape this trip, and if you want to be a prayer warrior for me, I ask that you let me know either by calling, emailing, or commenting on this post. A prayer warrior is someone who will pray for myself and my team daily and the people that we will encounter on the trip. A prayer warrior will stay updated with my blogs and keep in contact so they know what to pray for. I am in need of 15 prayer warriors and I would appreciate it beyond words, if you will bless me by being a prayer warrior for me over the course of the next 11 months. If you are willing to do this for me, again, please contact me and let me know!
One last thing to cover… if you live local, and haven’t received an invitation for some odd reason (probably me slacking)… this Saturday, August 18th, I will be having a going-away party at my house in Corona from 4pm-10pm. Anyone and everyone who I know is invited, so please, email me or comment to let me know you’re coming, so I can make sure we have enough food 🙂 I’d love for you to be there of course!
PS… just while writing this post, a small group from my church called who wants to sponsor me while I go on my trip… isn’t God just amazing like that! He WILL provide… thanks to people like YOU! 🙂
