In my last blog I talked about my morning ministry with the monks so now I want to talk about my afternoon ministry ,which is working at our ministry host’s school called EZRA. We help teach the kids English through using bible stories and just take time to love on the kids. Three of my teammates and I teach an all guys class to be able to connect with them, because usually they have women teachers and will no interact in class. I’ve loved being able to just take time and to love on these kids like Jesus and spend time with them. After hearing some of the stories of these kids and the things that they have had to live through, and what they do to get to school is crazy. Some of these kids are like 10 years old and will walk miles to be able to come learn. And one of the girls would get beat by her grandmother because she came here to learn English. She would just deal with it and come to school everyday because she wanted to lean English and learn about Jesus. (She got saved by coming to this school by the way) And there are countless other stories from these amazing kids.
