Hey guys been a little while since my last blog but no WiFi in Harbu. But after we got back from debrief things have been very interesting. Two days in managed to pull both of my quad muscles, and keep in mind it is very painful so try to avoid it. So Saturday and Sunday I couldn’t really walk so life was kind of difficult. Then I got better and was going about life until Tuesday morning. I woke up at like 5 am and began puking my guts up. This continued for awhile with a lot of pain, found out recently it was probably typhoid, so I was again out of the game. I was sick until Friday and it was not fun I was very weak ,feverish ,and in pain all three days. Then on the 28’th of January I found out that I had lice. Thankfully we caught it in time cause I was about to be to the point of infested it’s still being dealt with though.
With ministry I have been doing a lot of stuff dealing with construction. So it started with us laying concrete in the training center that they are building. It was so much fun and I have really been wanting to learn how lay concrete so I got to do it and it was awesome. It was hard work cause we mixed it all wheelbarrowed it to where it was supposed to go for 3-4 hours a day for many days. Some of that was going on while I was sick though so I missed a little bit. But now we are working on making bricks because they plan on making a public bathroom in the market place which is something that is not a common thing at all. So it’ll be really good to have in the community. But it has been good to be able to do manual labor again it’s something that hasn’t really happened since month one.
Also recently I’ve been reading through a lot of the New Testament, and God has really been giving me a new boldness. I have been able to begin walking in and it’s crazy I would never have even imagined that this is what would be happening in my life but it is and it is awesome.
