Hey there and welcome to my blog! My name is Christiana Cole, and I am so thrilled to be going on the World Race this year! As a child, I never dreamed I would be doing something like this, even last year I don’t think I imagined myself doing this. Yet here I am, writing the about me section of my blog as I prepare to go on the world race!
My decision to apply for the world race was not in response to an earth-shaking voice from heaven. It was more a quiet curiosity in my heart and a burning desire in my soul. I have always struggled with confidence in myself, and it has been only in Christ that I have found it. I had a burning desire to go on a crazy adventure and meet beautiful people created by God and share with them His love, and I was curious about if I could do it. After thinking about it for a while, I realized that I couldn’t. Then I remembered that I would not be going on this trip alone. My God would be beside me. On this trip, he will be my strength, my peace, my joy, my motivation, my comforter, and the lover of my soul. I am so wonderfully terrified and thrilled to be going on his trip. It is amazing that God has given me the opportunity to see Him and the world in a different way. I can’t wait to see how God works within me through this trip and how I am able to serve and love others.
I am honored that I get to take part in this amazing adventure and excited that I get to share it with you through this blog. I hope that you will enjoy reading my blog! I believe that often in life, we get so caught up in it, that we can forget the most important things. My desire is that through this blog, you will be reminded of God’s faithfulness and love. Every time you are able to read it, I pray that you will be turned toward God and remember that he is the light of our lives, he is the joy of our hearts, he is the life in our souls, and he is the song on our tongues, and it is through him that we can do anything and everything.
