it’s blog time. who’s excited? i am.
ok, first of all:::HAPPY NEW YEAR:::(sorry i’m a few days late..please forgive). so i’ve been thinking about this new year and what that means…what comes with it…what changes are going to happen. a lot. graduation and THE WORLD RACE (holy moly), and with change comes an opportunity for fear. fear of the unknown. fear of loss. fear of inadequacy. but i am not called to fear. i am called to freedom. i am called to abundant life. praise You, Jesus.
that is my prayer for this year. abundant life. fullness of joy. cups that run over. mornings of new mercy. death to self. sturdy foundations. a proclaiming of truth. contagious love. rooms filled with laughter. souls at peace. constant community. ears tuned to His voice. words of boldness. wells that never run dry. the list could go on….it’s all easily summed up…more Jesus.
as i start this venture of fundraising and preparation for my journey that starts in july, i am choosing to trust in the Lord and all His plans. they are secure. they are prosperous. they are growing.
“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30
