heyyyy. i realize that as humans we love to talk about ourselves (or maybe that’s just me), so i’m just going to try to hit the high points. i turned 25 in september so cheers to being a real life adult with no idea what i’m doing ever…i went on the world race in 2014, and it totally changed my life. well, God changed my life, but He used the race in very huge ways to do it (i could talk about that for days, but i’ll spare you). i grew up in birmingham, alabama and before the race, i graduated from auburn university with a major in nursing…but i’m not a nurse #changeofplans. after my race, i moved to south carolina to live with my fam and work for my dad as a youth pastor, which was just about the coolest thing ever. i never thought i would be back with adventures in missions, but the Lord is always looking for a good laugh, so here i am, squad leading, and living out of my backpack again. it’s a crazy life, and i love it. i see the Father always moving and doing a new thing, and i feel so honored to journey with HIm.

i love tacos and deep conversations, being in big places that make me feel small…like star gazing or mountain hiking, and i love laughing with people about stupid things. i love my family — they are my favorite people on earth and my friends are a very close second. my favorite holiday is thanksgiving and my favorite day of the week is thursday. i could eat popcorn and watch movies every day for the rest of my life, but if you talk during my movie, you become a little less lovable to me. morning coffee and a good book is a hard combo to beat, and dusk is the best time of day. i love roadtrips with good playlists and plenty of snacks. sweater weather is the ultimate, and s’mores should be eaten regularly. i like pretty handwriting and people that are authentic. gray is my favorite color because it’s chill and it goes well with everything. i love comfortable silence with people that know me, and i really love spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen.
