I am down to just over 4 months until launch! By now many of you have supported me immensely but the preparation is only becoming more and more real with every passing week! So there are three fresh and exciting ways to support!
First my t-shirts came in!!! If you have already preordered a size please PayPal or Venmo me and I will get you your shirt ASAP! If you have not preordered I have a few extra left so let me know if you want one!
Second, I have nearly completed my REI registry! I am estimating a total gear cost of around $2,000 so if you would like an alternative way of supporting me this is for you! Third, flights! I have three major flights I must pay for out of pocket for this journey. First is my flight to and from training camp PHX>ATL October 15-25th. Second is my flight to launch the first week of January from PHX to my launch US city (tbd). And last will be my flight from my return US city>PHX. If you have frequent flyer miles, work for an airline, or simply want to buy one of my flights, this form of support would be greatly appreciated! I would like to have my first flight for October booked by the end of August! (All international flights once launched for my race are covered under my fundraising goal).
Lastly I am still fundraising towards my goal of $16,900! I currently have $3,195 raised and my personal goal is to have $5,000 raised by September 15th which is less than 30 days away. This will keep me on track to be fully funded by Christmas! Many of you have received support letters and are committed and looking forward to donating but in the back of your head are thinking “Oh I have time, Christian doesn’t leave until January!” However meeting goals along the way is a huge part of the process.
