Herro.  As you
have no doubt already noticed, I have put together another video for you all
back home.  As stated, the purposes
of these videos are two-fold:  1.
So that those of you back home in the states can get a window view of what my
life is like here and 2. So that my future self can go back and remember what
life was like here even 10 years down the road.  So I speak to both you and my future self when I say, enjoy!

God is moving here guys.  It’s really cool to see the places where the Gospel is really
taking ground and the words of Jesus are really taking root in people’s
hearts.  When Ruth and I originally
sat down with Pastor Z to discuss what our schedule would be for the 4 weeks
that we are here, we scheduled one day of “Village Ministry”.  The city of Tirgu Mures is surrounded
by small villages of 100-500 people each.
These villages are largely Hungarian and Gypsy villages.  On village ministry day, we go out into
these villages to either play with children, speak with Gypsy adults about
Jesus, worship with/over families in the villages, pray over the villages, and
pretty much just follow the Lord’s leading.

A while back, Zsombor got a picture from the Lord relating
to these villages.  He is from one
of the villages outside the city and his vision was just of a cloud of glory
descending on first his village and then moving to all the other villages in
this valley.  The vision was much
more detailed than that but the point of it is that the pastor feels very
strongly that Jesus has a big plan for these villages and that the glory of God
is coming to this valley outside the city.

After week one of village ministry (video where I am dancing
with the little kiddos), Z-man began to feel that the Lord was really moving in
the villages.  We would consistently
meet people from the villages when we were in the Targu Mures city center and
we were just having really awesome experiences in the villages with people
whose hearts were so open (which is atypical here)!  So we have upped our village ministry to two days a
week.  Today is actually a village
ministry day so we will be heading out here in a bit to go to a few villages.

We had a village ministry day on Monday as well.  Z-dog showed up at our house at roughly
2:00 pm(?) and we headed down to the closest “main” street to try to hitch-hike
a ride to the first village we wanted to visit.  While we waited for someone to stop, we just did some
worship and praying over our day and the places that the Lord was going to lead
us.

After about 25 minutes, we decided that maybe we needed to
be open to Jesus changing plans up.
A couple people felt Him leading us to just start walking down the road
towards the next village over from us (couple miles).  We walked down there and stopped to pray when we found some good
shade in the village.  God was
absolutely present and speaking through us during that prayer time and we were
trying to just be as open to His leading as possible.

Right when we finished praying and were about to head on
down the road, Ruth (the other team leader [LEGIT]) noticed an old woman and
her daughter sitting on a bench about 40 yards from where we were praying and
felt the Lord leading us to go speak with them.  PZ went with about 4-5 of us over to speak with the ladies
and hopefully pray for them.

The rest of us stayed back, did a little worship, did a
little watching, did a little of everything.  Turns out that the older woman had Alzheimer’s and, due to
this disease, was a very irritable woman.
Her daughter who was with her could not believe how peaceful and joyful
her mother was while we were there talking with them and welcomed our team
members into her shop, blessed us with lots of free chocolate, sprite (as seen
in the video), and the opportunity to pray with her and her whole family.  They were very touched and want to know
more about us and who we are/what we do/who we follow!

I think it’s awesome that God totally directed our steps to
a place that He had clearly prepared with hearts open to see Him moving.  Some big seeds were planted in some
very good soil that day and I believe that God has big things that He wants to
continue to do in this village that we weren’t even planning on visiting.

We continued the day and went to some other villages.  I could talk all about them as well but
this is already very very long so I won’t.  One highlight though is that there is a group of 5 gypsy
families in another village that expressed an interest in starting a church in
their village on Monday!!! WHATT!??
That’s awesome.  I’m serious,
Jesus is moving in these villages.

OK, I won’t make you read another word.
