Hello!
Over the past 6 months I’ve had multiple jobs in multiple places, and one thing that is always nice to hear is thank you! Hearing that from anyone can be a huge mood booster and make hard days way easier! I have noticed though that not everyone gets a thank you at the end of the day, so I e been trying to thank random people for the smallest thing, and the looks and reactions I get make it worth it. Some peoples’ jobs are to sweep the sidewalks with a hand broom, they never get more than a second thought from most people. However stopping them and telling them thank you and that you appreciate what they are doing you will get a confused look followed by a giant smile. Telling someone Thanks takes 2 seconds, but it can make all the difference. We are all on one team and a team loves each other and boosts each other up. Like my mom always said “don’t forget to say please and thank you.” Have a good weekend y’all and I want to challenge you to thank the 50 people before Monday.
