Growing up I remember singing:

I have decided

To follow Jesus

No turning back

No turning back

On Sunday, October 2nd, I leave for Georgia where my squad and I will have three more days of training. On Wednesday, October 5th, we head to Costa Rica! My team and I will be working with the Christian Light Foundation. Our focus will be on discipleship, and we’ve been told we will be working with their feeding center and tutoring!

This is my lovely team!

From left to right: Brenna, Marisa, Sarah, Caitlyn, Me, Jillian!

God is so good…and I feel so blessed at the opportunity to share His goodness in 11 different countries. I can confidently say there is no greater place to be than in the Will of God. Ever since I said “yes” to God’s calling to go on the World Race, He has radically transformed my life. Not because my relationship with Him is works based, but because I have allowed Him to step in and take control.

Saying “yes” to God isn’t always easy. In fact, the world will try to tell us that saying “no” is much easier and more comfortable. But the world can’t offer what Jesus can. We were designed to find our rest, affirmation, security, and love in Christ and Christ alone. Yet we look for those things in the world, and ALWAYS come back empty handed. I can’t wait to share Jesus with those who are constantly searching and tell them the search is over–Christ is ENOUGH.

I couldn’t have embarked on this journey without all the love and support from my friends, family, and even those I don’t know! Together we have raised $12,156! Words cant express how grateful I am for your support. More importantly, I am so thankful for you saying “yes” to our sweet Jesus!

So, as I walk blindly in faith for the next 11 months, I PROMISE to you, the Lord, and myself: No turning back, no turning back!
