Dear friends and family,

This prayer is what I prayed last September. “Lord I come to you with a broken heart. I’m hurt, angry, lost, and unsatisfied with my life. God what is my purpose, who am I, and what is in stored for me? I humbly ask for increase in you Lord. Make me an instrument of your peace. You are my compass and wherever you lead me I will follow. In your name I pray, Amen.” I was broken and confused with the course of my life. I was working a 9 to 5 job for minimum wage, not in school and not advancing in life. I prayed the above prayer multiple times. I was desperate for change but little did I know change was just around the corner. I needed to learn to trust in God and he’ll give me my heart’s desires even if I didn’t know at the time what that was.

I came across AmeriCorps on the internet with very little knowledge of what it was about. The more I read the more drawn I felt to apply right then and there, and I did. Before I knew it, I had the application filled out and waited anxiously for a response. I prayed to my heavenly father to clarify his plan for me. Four days later I received a call saying I was offered a position in Lame Deer, Montana and of course I took it right away. I’ve been here in Lame Deer Montana for six months and I’ve seen God work in my life like none other. Yes, I knew God prior to moving to the Northern Cheyenne reservation but independence has enhanced my love for him and my walk with him. That’s why I know the next path God leads me down will only increase that love between a father and daughter.

With that being said, I’m excited to announce that I am a world racer! The World Race is a program with an organization called Adventures in Missions! January of 2018, I’m embarking on a journey with other like-minded followers of Christ on an 11-month mission trip spreading the gospel. I will be serving in Haiti, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, China, Mongolia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Uganda. I will be involved in all kinds of ministries such as ministering to those in prostitution due the human trafficking, working with orphans, re-building churches, spreading the gospel, and helping victims of natural disasters. Although I haven’t done most of the things on this list, I’ve made a commitment to myself and to God that serving and spreading his word is the greatest gift. I would love nothing more than for you all to accompany me on this journey.

I humbly ask that you consider partnering with me in prayer and financially. I must raise $18,000 to live out this opportunity, which will cover all my expenses on the field. It covers my flights to the different countries, lodging, food, sea travel, and medical insurance. Yes this number might seem daunting but I believe when God calls he also provides and he will do just that. Although this will be my experience out on the field, prayers and/or financial help allows you to partake in this journey with me. This money is really being raised so that people across the nation may be served as Christ served and loved.

I will be following up with you via phone or email to keep you updated. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] with any questions that you may have! You can also contact me through my blog page.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support. Through this journey I hope to be a blessing to you and to the people I come in contact with around the world.
