This month my team and I are serving at Kids International Ministries (K.I.M.). We are serving with Team Last Place and Team Liquacious this month. K.I.M. is an amazing organization that focuses on showing God’s love to the children of the Philippines.

These are the five things that we feel Christ has commissioned all of us to do and we feel that they will affect a permenant and lasting change in the area that we are planted. We feel that this will be an impact that will reverberate through the generations of manila. There are many different ways in which we accomplish these 5 key principles.Here is some of the programs that we are involved in;
Feedings: We take food daily to those that are most in need
Medical outreach and dental clinic: to help those who are sick and unable to care for themselves
Community schools: to educate those who cant afford to go to school and help them reach their full potential
Trades education: to help those who want to get a higher education but may not be able to afford trade school
Literacy program: to teach basic reading to those who might not ever have the chance to learn otherwise
Sports outreach: sports crosses all barriers and allows us to reach out through another medium
Childrens home: this is where kids can have a safe and nurturing environment that encourages them to grow and reach their full potential
Prison outreach: to visit those who are in prison is something Jesus told us to do and we can help those locked in prison find freedom in Jesus
This is just a short description of what this ministry does to be Jesus to the people in our area. We do this from several different locations.
Here are a few of the different ministry sites that we have; Manila childrens home, Malay Balay childrens home, Yunjin Lyso Ministry Centre, Jesus Christ Church in the Valley, Cuatro Community Centre. truly focuses on children and showing them God’s love.”
So as you can see God has placed me in the Philippines with opportunities to serve Him in so many different ways. It is really cool to finally be at place where this is My Life!! What I mean by that is this is MY normal: loving on children, feeding the hungry, bandaging physical and emotional wounds all to show the love of Jesus Christ. This is truly what God has called US to do regardless of our geographic location!!
