Canaan’s Impact

Hello everyone!!  Just wanted to share the impact that Canaan had on me this last month and how God used us to impact Canaan.  As I have shared previously these children are blessings from God.  I truly believe these are the children that are going to step up and claim their country for Jesus Christ!! 

My goal this last month was to show Jesus Christ’s love to these children.  I want you all to understand that they live in a Christian environment.  They sing praise songs before each meal as well as bless the meal.  They attend a Christian school located right down the hill and their curriculum has bible verses throughout it!!  These children have memorized more bible verses than most of us.  With that said, my goal was for these children to make the brain/heart connection.  Let me explain,  we all can memorize, and listen to as much of God’s word as we can but if our hearts are not open to a relationship with HIM what our brain knows is not going to have an impact.   I wanted to make sure these children understood that it is not all about thinking it is about feeling the Spirit lead you.  I had the opportunity to spend some one on one time with some of the girls and get to know their stories and to see how God delivered them to Canaan.  These children have truly left a lasting impression on my heart.
