Bonjour from Madagascar!
I wanted to share with you a couple of photos since being here in Madagascar. We have been here for a week now and have already been blown away by the scenery and its culture. The people here speak French and Malagasy. We started working with a church here, shellacking its pews, teaching English at an engineering company, encouraging believers in their homes, praying over several families, and attending an orphanage. The people here are beautiful. They love well and they have welcomed us in their homes.
Each day, I was able to capture some of the sweetest moments here. In these photos I caught of glimpse of God’s love not only for me but for the world. I hope you enjoy!
“For you make him most blessed forever; you make him glad with the joy of your presence.” Psalm 21:6

“I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Jeremiah 31:33

“ The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

“ I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.”
John 14:18-19

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands…” Isaiah 49:15-16

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139: 13

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!” Psalm 34:8

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Blessings!
