I’ve been good at doing and learning many new things on a dime in ministry, in my career and life in general. But when I got accepted in to the WorldRace and it came to this blogging thing, it is and has been a challenge for me for the past few months, to be very honest super stressful. I have never done this before, but I’ve learned that in order to grow, you have to be challenged.

So here it goes, I want to give everyone of you a little update on what God has been doing in and through me the past few weeks and months. It’s been a tough, challenging but very exciting new season that God has been leading me into. I’ve moved on from my previous church which I called home and where I first came to know Christ and been welcomed into where I now call my new home church, River of Life Fellowship! The move wasn’t an easy one and a lot of tears for sure. I argued a bit with God, on why now and why not that church over this one and what were the reasons why I should call this my new home. At that very moment, I stopped and took a breathe cause we all know we can’t win against God in an argument. I had forgot to stop simply praying a regular prayer where we tell God what’s going on and what we need, but do some more listening in my quiet time and be attentive to His voice and what He wants for me to do. I’m not perfect, and I’m still growing in my listening prayer with God every day. This was the first stepping stone I needed to pass as I went into this new season of growing and developing into the man, God has called me to be.
Life isn’t easy nor will it ever be, but with God leading the way it can be a more exciting journey of growth.

Alittle details on this Mission trip called the world race.

The WorldRace is something that had been on my heart for a few years now, I’m just blessed to have been given this opportunity to leave everything worldly behind and sacrifice my comforts and leave my loving family to be apart of something bigger that’s not about us but about the kingdom. So that we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to live just the disciples of the past and share the hope and peace of the gospel to the unreached people of the 10/40 window. This mission is not something of a vacation, travel and leisure for a year. It will be an ever changing, ever growing experience of traveling to 11 countries in 11 months and serving the local ministries and “the least of these” while being in the middle of raw and real community with my squad growing together through the challenges set forth.

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”
Jeremiah 17:7 NIV

This is the first of many blog posts, I will be posting more often on what God is continuing to show and teach me along this journey of preparation. I thank you for reading all the way to this point lol As my squad and I continue to get prepared for launch in August 2018, I invite you to join me as a prayer partner, and specifically that God be at the center of everything we do in molding us to be ready for the field, safety and that we will be used for His glory and honor to reach the nations and tribes we come to, along the way.

Now to be honest this is the biggest obstacle, this mission trip is a huge sacrifice if you really think about it. I will be leaving everything and quitting my job, to go to serve as a missionary for Jesus for 11 months and I have to raise $18,700 for all my flights, food and everything we will need on the way. So where does the money come from, and it’s a lot of money that it takes to do this as you can see. I don’t like to ask for money, but it’s needed to make this possible. But I’m trusting cause we are reminded where He guides, He provides.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

So I ask you to pray and seek Gods guidance on how you should partner with me, and if you feel called to join me as a financial partner go ahead and click on the donate tab, and lets see how God changes lives through us.

Be blessed!
