To the best group of friends we could ever ask for, I come with great news.
April we were sent to Ivory Coast (Cote D’Ivoire) Africa. 7 of us were the first white people ever to stay at our ministry location (Assafou Village).
People’s faces were at awe, and quickly we became center of much attention.
Take for a moment you are a celebrity, everyone stares at you with wonder, flashes pictures, desires your conversation, yet language barriers prevents communication.
Electricity, internet, running water, comfort food, a place to introvert, was no where in sight.
Typhoid hit me, and two others, as mosquitos spread malaria.
Living in tents, in a village of dirt houses and hut homes, with strangers who became brothers/sisters in Christ. People here have such bright smiles to match loving hearts.
It was a hard month, but so worth it. All Praise to Jesus, by his grace, his love, his mercy, has done a pure miracle. 40 plus villagers have received salvation, now they call upon the name of Jesus Christ as Lord.
We need to pray, please join us as we ask that the seed will fall on good soil. Jesus is the only savior!
