My views, thoughts, believes, attitudes, etc, has all changed since starting my year long mission trip to 11 different countries. An important reality is that community is something God calls us to be part of. To have fellowship after church is nice. To go to a ball game with friends is nice. How about honest feedback with one another? How about doing such deep ministry, you can not help but to love and trust your brothers/sisters?

No one in my team of seven is perfect, however I have learned to love them deeply. If they are hurt, I feel hurt. They mean so much to me. Their own unique personalities, add value to my life. “Bear one another’s burdens, and fulfill the Law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2.

I want to leave you all with a challenges……

Are you happy with how your community looks?

Are you lonely from lack of community?

Are you and your family part of a community?

Are you living where God wants you to live?

Are you holding on to things that are preventing community? Are your friends?

Are you in a community that is unproductive?

If community is not important to you, then what is?
