October Newsletter

My Life

Hello family, friends, and
supporters! I can not believe it is already mid-October. I am now only about 12
weeks from my departure date in early January. I have been extremely busy
lately planning and preparing for the World Race. I have also done some
traveling lately visiting family and friends. In the next couple of months, I
hope to spend time with each of you. I am still working with the Master’s Inn
Youth Camp helping in many ways with their retreats. I am also volunteering
with friends to do Kid’s Church for about 30 kids in the projects of Lynchburg.
I am really enjoying my life right now, but I do ask for your continued
prayers.

My Heart and My
Struggle

I am so blessed to have a loving
Father who would give me such an amazing opportunity like the World Race. He
has been both good and faithful the last several months by supplying all my
needs spiritually and financially. The Lord is breaking me. He is stretching me
in ways that I don’t like. He has been teaching me to let go of control. He has
been teaching me to trust Him with all of life’s situations. I think of myself
as a problem solver. I think of myself as strong, but He has humbled me. He has
shown me that my strength is not enough. He is in the processing of drawing me
to Himself. I am realizing that I am nothing without Christ. I cannot do this
yearlong trip without total dependence on Him. I cannot raise $15,000 without
Him softening the hearts of many who will support me.
I am learning to
live by faith not by sight, logic, or human skills. Meanwhile, Satan is attacking
me. He is trying to steal my joy and passion. He is trying to destroy my faith.
He is trying to fill my mind with fear, doubt, and selfishness. But praise the
Lord for He is good. He is always enough to overcome any of these things, and
once again, I ask for your prayers and encouragement to help me claim victory.

Progress and Needs

and I need to purchase international medical insurance which is about $400 for
the entire year.

GA

November – I need $5,600 in my trip account

December 21st – I need $8,500 in my account, as
well as, $6,000 pledged to leave in January with my team

            I am
currently using this to share valuable info, as well as, my spiritual journey.
Once I leave, this will be the best way to follow my ministry. PLEASE CHECK IT
OUT!!! You can also get email alerts, as well as, easily support me financially
online through my blog.

The 11 countries

            My team and
I will be ministering in 11 countries between Jan. and Nov. sharing the love of
Christ with many people who have never heard the Good News.

We will be spending a month in each of these countries: Dominican
Republic, Haiti,
Jamaica, Thailand,
Vietnam, Cambodia,
South Africa, Mozambique,
Swaziland, Bosnia,
and Romania.

Final Thoughts

I sincerely want to ask each of you
to prayerfully consider supporting me financially through monthly pledges or
one-time donations. Consider that if each of you gives a small amount monthly
for a year how easy it would be to reach my goal of $15,000. Even if you cannot
give financially I would love for you to join me through prayer and
encouragement. I truly want this trip to impact all of us. I invite you to join
me and my team as we follow the Lord to the ends of the earth sharing Christ
with the poor, the broken, and the hurting.

If you have any questions or you would like to join me in
anyway please feel free to email or call me.
