Well I never posted a blog letting yall know that we made it to Africa. In the last month and half, we have spent some time in South Africa, but we did our ministry in Mozambique. We worked with Iris Ministries at an orphanage in Dondo located about 20 minutes for Beira half way up the coast. We had a blast doing a variety of things, ex. village outreach, work projects (tearing down old latrines), teaching in the Bible school on site, visiting the hospital, and visiting the local jail which was my favorite. I also was able to play futbol (soccer) nearly everyday with the older teens from the base which really allowed us to connect. After the month of ministry, we spent a few days as a squad in the mountains of South Africa. It was a great time of encouragement and fellowship. Many of the teams spent their month in the bush which really took its toil. We stayed in cabins at the base of a gorgeous mountain which I was able to climb twice. Seven of us guys spent the night on top which was much need man time. I got some amazing pics and a video that I hope to get up for ya soon.

Presently, we are in Nelspruit, South Africa working out transportation for July ministry. My team, Luminious, and Indelible will be traveling to Malawi, and we hope to have our travel plans worked out by Monday sometime. The other teams will be doing ministry in Swaziland, Botswana, and South Africa. I was offical appointed the new team leader of Tikvah the other day. Emily has done a great job. She served as leader longer than any other on our squad, and deserves a break and chance to relinquish responsibility. I ask for your prayer as I step into this new postion. I want our team to go deeper, and I will need humility to lead us to that place.

Forgive me for not relaying information, nor sharing my heart with all of you more often.
