Hi! My name is Christopher Talon Green. I am so excited to have been called to go on the World Race! Thank you for visiting my blog, here I hope you can get to know me a little better and learn about my journey with GOD so far!
I am a born and raised Texan, I was born in the City of Baytown and have lived in Houston all of my life.
I learned who Jesus was when I was very young and gave my life to him during that time. From then on I started growing in an intimate relationship with him. Flash forward a bit to my sophomore year of high school, I was going through a very hard time and started wondering where GOD was in my life. I had felt like he had let go and left me. I was searching for him in my prayers and begging him to deliver me from what I was going through. Out of nowhere my friend invited me to this christian summer camp called Beach Week, which was hosted by the Woodlands Church. I thought little of it and decided to go because I had heard that a sports tournament would be played. During that one week GOD had rocked my entire life and I realized he had never left me. I was then baptized that same week.
At the time I was going to Kingwood High school and at the end of my junior year I had moved out to Cypress, Texas. I now go to CyFair High school as a senior and work at Chick-fil-A. Recently I have been wondering and asking GOD what the next step in my journey will be. Not soon after, GOD opened an opportunity for me in the World Race! This is a big step in my life, I am nervous but excited and I know GOD my rock will be with me every step of the way.
Here is also a few random facts:
- I play Rugby.
- I am a sushi addict.
- I am learning guitar and like to sing.
- My favorite super hero’s are Captain America and the FLASH.
- I currently go to the Woodlands Church and Hope city Church.
- My favorite movie is The Lion King.
- I absolutely LOVE traveling and exploring.
