I’m currently sitting in a large open aired mess hall, that our team has affectionately named the Bamboo Café. This is where we share all of our meals, devotions, and discuss the day’s work. The Bamboo Café was built in order to help handle the growing summer camp, Mt. Moriah, which takes place where I am staying. However in a few months this building will no longer be here and is being replaced by a covered basketball court, locker rooms, maintenance shed, and mess hall that will be constructed of concrete and steel.

Construction started yesterday on this new Mt. Moriah project and the owners of the camp, Glen and Grace, where here to oversee the construction. I was talking to Grace about how exciting this new project is and she began to share with me how much of a surprise this whole thing was. In a recent conversation with the director of Kid’s International Missions, a close friend of Glen and Grace, Grace was asked if her dream was coming true. She responded with, “How can my dream come true when I never even dreamt of this?” She finished by asking me if I knew how to make God laugh. I didn’t. Her answer was “Just show Him your plans.”
