I need to let you know that next month I will be going under cover. My Squad and I will be traveling to a “Closed Country” next month. For the safety of our hosts I am requesting that you make no specific mention on my blog or Facebook of what country I will be visiting next. Many of you may think that I am making some kind of joke, but I’m not. A few years ago, due to a Facebook post, a ministry host was sent on the run for 2 years. Now please do not go into a panic that Amanda and I will be in danger, we won’t be. The World Race takes great care to ensure our safety.
With all of that being said please begin to pray for our next stop on the Race. I am very excited about this opportunity to go into a country and bring the hope of Christ to those who may have given up.
In other news my team, as well as another team has been at our ministry location for the past 5 days. We are working at a home for abandoned children. We are also partnering with a World Race alum to help her get her youth jail rehabilitation program off the ground. So far I have been able to do some computer work for her and next week I will get to go to the jail to teach Math to youth who have next to no schooling (super stoked about this). Also behind the home is an over grown field that I will help clear in order to help install a basketball court for the boys.
