Since the time started blogging via the World Race provided blog I have never been happy with the site. The site is a royal pain in the behind to post to, and often times I even have difficulty accessing the site to post or to edit a blog. You may have noticed that I never post pictures to my blog. In order to do that I have to go through 10 steps to make that happen. With this new blog, which is hosted by WordPress, I’ll be able to put photos on my blog with ease. Also with this new blog site you can receive my blog posts delivered directly to your e-mail, as opposed to before where you were sent a link to my most recent post.
If you are currently a subscriber to my World Race blog I’ll soon be moving you over to my new blog mailing list and removing you from my old World Race blog mailing list. My WordPress blog will get updated as soon as I write a blog (and have internet) and will contain pictures. My World Race blog will still get the same posts as my WordPress blog but I will post a batch of blogs once a month without pictures.
Lastly, I have been working on becoming better at responding to the comments left by readers on my blog posts. I really appreciate the comments and I find that responding to the comments is a great way to keep in touch with everyone. Moving to WordPress will also help me stay in better touch with you by making responding to comments easier. If you comment on my blog from here on out I promise to respond to your comment in a timely manner, or as timely as third world internet allows.
Ultimately I hope you enjoy this new blog site and hope it helps us to stay in better touch.
